What equipment is in the studio?

A full listing of the equipment available in the studio is listed on the 'Equipment & Tech' page.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes. You're welcome to bring any extra equipment that you need.

Can I change the setup of the studio?

Yes, the configuration of equipment during your session is up to you.  Although please keep in mind that you will need to return the studio to it's original state before your booking period ends.

What type of recordings can be made?

Frequencies Studio can record a variety of video and audio formats. From single camera, multiple camera and 360 degree camera formats through to audio only recordings in a variety of file types. If you have a specific requirement please get in touch and we will let you know if it's possible.

How can I get a copy of the recording?

Usually a copy of the recording or recordings can be transferred to your own USB storage device at the end of the session, however you must allow enough time for this to take place. If this is not possible due to time constraints and/or a lack of suitable storage media, we can upload the file or files to an online file storage for you to download. Video recording files can become very large so we recommend bringing a USB storage device with ample available space to your session.

Can I live stream from the studio?

Yes, absolutely. Live streaming comes as standard in the price of the studio hire. The live stream can be viewed on our website or on any other website (including Facebook) that you require. We can assist with the setting up of live stream access on external sites but cannot guarantee any external site's compatibility. Please contact us should you require more information regarding this service.

When you book the studio for a session, it's entirely up to you how you use your time. The live streaming and recording aspects of the studio are entirely optional.

Can I use the studio to record a demo?

Yes. The studio can be used to record demo DJ mixes or even a demo of original music from a  band, duo or soloist. Please note that Frequencies Studio only provides basic audio engineering as part of the hire fee. Should you require specialist production or audio engineering services we recommend you bring your own audio engineer to join you in the studio. We can recommend appropriate audio engineer for you if you need help with this. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding what can or cannot be done as part of the standard hire fee.

Can I host an event in the studio?
